Units assist the City
While the City fire units
and other area fire companies were responding to a
second alarm structure fire on North Church Street, a
second suspicious fire broke out on Madison Street just
1 block away from the Mill. Initially Patrol Officer/EMT
Keiper arrived to find a couch and chair on the front
porch of a row dwelling involved and knocked down the
bulk of the fire with an extinguisher. U-75 (Good)
arrived and used a water can to douse the remaining fire
before it could extend into the home and then made the
proper notifications to the fire board.
