Year End Reports And Statistics

Another year has come to a close and the year end report shows an increase in incidents and responses for the Mill Rats. In 2008 the station ran a total of 485 Emergency response with 454 being fire related and 31 being transportable EMS calls. This was an increase of 83 responses from 2007. In addition to the runs the company performed over 1,126 special work permits ( confined space, hot work and hazard stand by), which again was an increase of 184 permits issued. There were 1074 fire prevention inspections and fire protection tests and inspections performed for the year and a total of 618 portable fire extinguishers were recharged.
